Speech Therapy and Speech Related Services

Depending on their level, ease, and mode of communication, most students at Kamran School have speech related services. The amount of therapy to be received and its frequency is based on each student’s IEP. Each of these students has an assigned certified Speech Pathologist assigned to work with them and follow their progress.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy

Applied behavior analysis therapy is incorporated into every classroom and every teacher’s lessons. In addition to having Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), the teachers at Kamran School are also trained in ABA methods to ensure our students receive ABA style instruction throughout their day.

Occupational Therapy

Many of the students at Kamran School have Occupational Therapy (OT) goals as a part of their IEP. These students receive OT through a certified Occupational Therapist during the school day. The frequency and duration of their OT is based on each student’s IEP goals.
